30 May 1984 – Status Quo, Manchester Apollo
The following year Status Quo hit Manchester Apollo in the “End of the Road” Tour. This was billed as their last tour….ever! Nearly 4 decades later Quo still exist and still tour, even if only Francis Rossi remains from the 1984 line-up. Actually this is not right, as Andy Bown joined in 1981, mainly playing keyboards, but is still there and taking a much higher profile, often playing rhythm guitar and adding backing vocals. I do not have much photographic evidence of him in this particular gig though.
