AC/DC, Manchester Apollo, 13 January 2016
Having qualified as a chartered accountant via those pre Live Aid exams, I got a new job back in Manchester, starting on 6 January 1986, initially living in a bedsit in Longsight. A week later I was back at the Apollo with my camera. By then I had my first car, but that was not needed as I was living a mile or so from the theatre. This was AC/DC's first date of the European Leg of their "Fly On The Wall" tour. This was my first and to date only venture upstairs in the Circle section of the Apollo. The view was excellent and there were no obstructions allowing me to get some decent photos.
